Beautiful handmade Thuy Wood boxes are lovingly handmade by local artisans in Morocco, where Thuy Trees (some say Thuya) come from. The main part of these boxes are carved from a single piece of wood so that the body and the lid have a continuous pattern. They then have a top and bottom finish piece. They are finished with a hand rubbed shellac to really bring out the colors and lines.
